The Einstein Foundation Berlin puts to affect the intentions of its charter through:
- own projects, f. i. creating networks and strengthening Berlin's visibility as a center of science and research
- outlines for programs to support and sponsor excellent scientists located in Berlin
- support of excellent and interdisciplinary research projects in Berlin.
Filing of applications are effected by one of Berlin's university or the Charité. Applications in principle require the approval of two participating partner institutions ( f. i. head of a university, president of applied research institute)
