The Future of Academic Mobility in a Changing World

19 October 2023, Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin

"The Future of Academic Mobility in a Changing World" was about personal mobility, but mostly about the future of exchange, the mobility of thought, of methods, techniques and research results in an extremely volatile political and social context.

The evening was kicked off with an impulse by Robert Schlögl (President of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation) and followed by panel discussion with a group of distinguished experts  Antje Boetius (Director of the Alfred-Wegener-Institute Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research), Beate Kampmann (Einstein Professor and Head of the Institute for International Health at Charité) and Ralph Beste (Director-General for Culture and Society at the German Federal Foreign Office).
