Brian Kobilka is the second Nobel Prize laureate (2012, Chemistry) hosted by the Einstein Foundation and the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). After studying and doing research in Minnesota, at Yale University as well as Washington University St. Louis and Duke University, Kobilka currently holds a professorship at Stanford University. In Berlin, Brian Kobilka collaborates with his colleagues from Charité-Universitätsmedizin and contributes to the research project "In silico GPCR: 'A computational microscope to determine receptor – G protein coupling specificity and functional selectivity' ".
