Vasudevan Srinivas is an outstanding mathematician in the fields of algebra, K-theory, and arithmetic geometry. The top researcher teaches and conducts research as Einstein Visiting Fellow at the Berlin Mathematical School, a joint doctoral program of Freie Universität, Humboldt-Universität, and Technische Universität, thus strengthening its international orientation. A professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, he earned his doctorate at the University of Chicago and later conducted research at many universities around the world, including Berkeley, Princeton, and Paris.
