On March 6, 2017, former Einstein Visiting Fellow Raymond Dolan, together with his colleagues Wolfram Schultz (University of Cambridge) and Peter Dayan (University College London), was awarded the world's most important prize in the field of brain research. 'The Brain Prize 2017' is awarded to the three scientists for their analysis of cognitive and processing processes and, in particular, the reward system as functions of the human brain that ensure survival.
