Einstein Foundation Award

The €500,000 Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research honors researchers, institutions, and early career researchers from around the world whose work advances the quality, transparency, and reproducibility of science. The 2024 winners are Dutch microbiologist and data sleuth Elisabeth Bik, the post-publication peer review platform PubPeer, and the PixelQuality initiative for research image reproducibility by Helena Jambor and Christopher Schmied. Generously funded by the Wübben Stiftung Wissenschaft and supported by the State of Berlin, this prestigious award is presented by the Einstein Foundation Berlin in cooperation with the QUEST Center for Responsible Research at the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH).
