Advancing technological developments provide a wealth of applications and equipment in the field of imaging techniques, which can be used well beyond originally intended contexts - such as in the life sciences-medical field in robot-assisted surgery. "Life Imaging" examines the possibilities and challenges that arise from the use of modern imaging techniques in this area.
