Catalina Biglione received her PhD in July 2017 at the University of Cordoba in Argentina, where her scientific career has also begun with a bachelor (honours) degree in chemistry. Following her wish of continuing her further career in Germany, she has been awarded an „Einstein International Postdoctoral Fellowship“ in the research group of junior professor Marcelo Calderon at Freie Universität Berlin. With her respective expertise in the research area of nanomaterials and her scientific performance so far, Catalina Biglione was a great enrichment for the project: „Magnetoplasmonic-Thermoresponsive Nanogel: A Smarter Theranostic Device“.
