Katrina Forest is a professor of bacteriology, chemistry and biophysics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Using X-ray crystallography as a primary tool, her research looks for a better understanding of photoreceptors, which accumulate a diverse set of functions in mircroorganisms.
