Anne-Frances Miller is an outstanding chemist who employs diverse experimental techniques such as NMR-spectroscopies (nuclear magnetic resonance) and complements them with cutting-edge computational approaches. Her research aims at elucidating the structure and function of enzymes involved in energy conversion in order to develop sustainable strategies for industrial energy supply. In Berlin, Miller will be integrated in the activities of the Einstein Center Catalysis, which cooperates with "UniSysCat" (Unifying Systems in Catalysis), Cluster of Excellence, at Technische Universität Berlin and the collaborative research center "Protonation Dynamics in Protein Function" at Freie Universität Berlin.
