The Einstein Foundation has launched a new English-language website to promote its Postdoctoral Grant and Einstein Visiting Fellow programs to the international scientific community.

At its July meeting, the Board of the Einstein Foundation Berlin approved new funding totaling €9.6 million. The focus is on topics such as the mental health of young people, the role of soils and bodies of water in the climate system, and alternative forms of economic planning.

The Einstein Foundation Berlin welcomes Prof Dr Cornelia Woll, President of the Hertie School, as a new member of its Executive Board. This appointment by the Foundation Council as of 1 January 2025 also marks the departure of the Deputy Chair of the Board, Prof Dr Dorothea Kübler (WZB).
